Jarmo Mikkola

Director, School of ICT & Business, Oamk

Jarmo brings together academic research, technology leadership, and higher education management to explore how digital twin technologies can create value in public healthcare.

As Director of the School of ICT and Business at Oulu University of Applied Sciences and a doctoral researcher at University of Oulu Business School, his work examines how Digital Twins and AI can improve healthcare outcomes, productivity, and decision-making. With more than 20 years of experience in the ICT industry, Jarmo focuses on connecting research, education, and international collaboration to support the practical adoption of advanced digital technologies in healthcare and other critical sectors.
